my sip provider doesn't support sip headers need send ip phones. can specify own headers, provider add prefix in front of them everytime.
i need send call-info header phone. provider adds x-ph- prefix ip phone doesn't understand modified header.
i need create sort of middleware i'll have between ip phone , provider's server in network. there proxy / middleware can use?
i recommend putting session border controller [sonus, dialogic etc] "header manipulation rules" capabilities. other options using opensips / kamailio make header manipulations, has learning curve way rules defined , of course pain of putting in network.
btw, since looking rfc compliant sip headers [call_info], can push carrier dealing with. them comply sip specs. maybe see merit pushing vendors compliance.
