afnetworking allows 1 do:
[[afnetworkactivityindicatormanager sharedmanager] setenabled:yes]; but have not figured out how swift alamofire equivalent. i've searched source of same terms, don't see yet.

your assessment correct @travis. there no support such activity indicator in latest version of alamofire. if need functionality, you'll have build out on own @ moment. said, know project accepting prs having submitted many myself. 👍🏻
