i'm running sql server 2012, , i'm trying configure reporting services. i've confirmed service running on system, when start reporting services configuration manager, there no server listed in start screen, asks connect server. when type in name of server, pop saying, "cannot find "
that's far get, , cannot understand why not automatically populate server name or, less clear, why wouldn't able find server once entered name in manually.
i wish give more information that's far get. there basic configurations can check see why it's not "aware" of sql server?
if there's no reporting service instance name displayed in reporting services configuration manager, means reporting services instance not installed properly. can try re-add feature(ssrs) existing sql instance. please troubleshooting installation ssrs.
